Following the successful Michael Leander’s Email Marketing Masterclass in Sofia, Bulgaria in February, event organizer InterContact have decided to bring the Email Marketing Masterclass to Bucharest, Romania in July 2010.

Permission-based Email Marketing is a powerful direct marketing tool. Yet marketers are struggling in getting the results they deserve. According to direct and interactive marketing authority Michael Leander there are three reasons for that.

Michael Leander says “First of all, most marketers do not create a well designed plan when they first embark on email marketing – and that is very important in order to become successful. Second of all, the media is more often than not treated as a cheap and low priority media. It is not, and if you want results you must prioritize the investment needed to become successful.

Thirdly, marketers overestimate their attractiveness to their target audience. Even big, popular brands are struggling achieving results in the email marketing channel. The reason is that they take their target audience for granted. And that attitude will not help in any way.”
