Die Highlights der re:publica bestanden dieses Jahr unter anderem aus den Vorträgen von Sascha Lobo, Peter Sunde und Prof. Gunter Dueck. Sascha Lobo füllte mit seinem Vortrag „Jüngste Erkenntnisse der Trollforschung“ den Friedrichpalast bis fast auf den letzten Platz.</p>
<p>Wie von Lobo erwartet wurde mehr Entertainment als inhaltliches geboten. Den recht witzigen Vortrag könnt ihr euch hier ansehen.</p>

<p>Kaum ein Redner konnte jedoch so sehr begeistern wie Prof. Dueck von IBM. Für seinen Vortrag &#8220;Das Internet als Gesellschaftsbetriebssystem&#8221; erntete Prof. Dueck Standing Ovations. Den Vortrag von Prof. Dueck könnt ihr euch ebenfalls hier ansehen.</p>

<p><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-6253" src="http://www.markedu.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/republica150-150x150.jpg" alt="Republica XI Berlin 2011" width="150" height="150" />Zu guter letzt erzählte Peter Sunde noch einiges über zukünftige Entwicklungen von Flattr. In Zukunft soll es auch möglich sein mobil via QR Code zu flattern. Ebenfalls sollen auch direkte Spenden möglich sein, es kann anonym ein gewisser Betrag an einen gewünschten User versendet werden. Flattr wird nun auch in verschiedene Sprachen übersetzt, deutsch sollte laut Peter Sunde schon online sein. Nette Nebenstory, die Community hat die gesamte Übersetzung übernommen. </p>
<p>Die 10% die Flattr bei Transaktionen mitschneidet, sollen in Zukunft auch teilweise mit größeren Blog-, Videoseiten und dergleichen geteilt werden. Ab 1. Mai kann man auch Tweets flattern, eine &#8220;you have money waiting for you&#8221; Message wird dann an die geflatterte Person gesendet. &#8220;Flattr whatever you want!&#8221; ist das Ziel laut Peter und ab 1. Mai soll es viel mehr Möglichkeiten geben. Flattr soll generell auch mehr in den Offline Bereich gehen, z.B. soll man Songs auf seinem MP3 Player flattern können. &#8220;We really want to be where the content is&#8221; schließt Peter die kurze, nicht mal 15 minütige Präsentation ab.</p>
<p>Am Rande der re:publica 2011 gab es des Weiteren eine heftige Diskussionen zum neu gegründeten Verein Digitale Gesellschaft (#digiges) von Markus Beckedahl (netzpolitik.org). <p>The Social Media Marketing Day  @Your Desk on April 11, 2011 featured 21 speakers from 15 countries. They all talked about topics related to social media. The more than 800 marketing professionals whom registered for the event could enjoy more than 9 hours of continuous presentations.  The social media practitioners who presented served up one great piece of social media marketing advice after another.</p>
