Digital Media and the new age for Business

In the growing direct and interactive marketing industry, digital media advances promise a new age for business development and international trade opportunities. While, Egypt’s growing economy and its rising industry and trade sectors are in need for capitalizing on the knowledge of using digital media to effectively propagate and support e-marketing, e-commerce and e-media.

Cairo will witness this week the visit of one of the renowned authorities in this field, Michael Leander, who is the Chairman of the Interactive Marketing Council (FIMAC) in the Federation of European Direct & Interactive Marketing (FEDMA). FEDMA is the foremost European Industry Body for the direct and interactive marketing industry in Europe, FEDMA’s role is to inform, promote and protect the direct and interactive marketing industry.

This industry represents an annual expenditure of more than 100 billion Euro and employs more than 2 million people in Europe alone and many more indirectly. How and what will happen in the direct and interactive marketing industry through digital media in Egypt and how businesses should benefit from the latest world trends will be addressed during Michael’s keynote speech at the Conrad Hotel, Cairo, on February 19th at 9:00 am, the opening session of the three day seminar Michael is offering in Cairo for the second time. He will also address for the first time to an Egyptian audience the issue of E-mail marketing on the third day of the seminar, February 21st. Key issues include, permission marketing, data privacy and policies, the marketing mix integration between direct and interactive marketing
